śeṁdura lāla caḍhāyo acchā gajamukhako.
Bright red sindoor is offered to the elephant-faced one;
doṁdila lāla birāje suta gauriharako.
the round-bellied darling, son of Gauri and Hara, sits in splendour;
hātha liye guḍalaḍḍū sāṁī suravarako.
a jaggery ladoo in his hand — master of the foremost gods;
mahimā kahe na jāya lāgata hūṁ padako.
his glory cannot be told; I fall at his feet.
jaya jaya jī gaṇarāja vidyā sukhadātā.
Victory, victory to you, king of the ganas, giver of learning and happiness;
dhanya tumhārā darśana merā mana ramatā.
blessed is the sight of you; my heart delights in it.
aṣṭau siddhi dāsī saṁkaṭako bairī.
The eight siddhis are your servants; you are the foe of all hardship,
vighnavināśana maṁgala mūrata adhikārī.
destroyer of obstacles, blessing in bodily form, sovereign of all;
koṭīsūrajaprakāśa aisī chabi terī.
your radiance is that of ten million suns,
gaṁḍasthalamadamastaka jhūle śaśibihārī.
and the crescent moon plays upon your brow.
bhāvabhagatase koī śaraṇāgata āve.
Whoever comes to your refuge with love and devotion
saṁtati saṁpati sabahī bharapūra pāve.
receives children, wealth and every good thing in abundance.
aise tuma mahārāja moko ati bhāve.
Such are you, great king, and dear to me beyond measure;
gosāvīnaṁdana niśidina guna gāve.
Gosavinandan sings your praises day and night.
