Kalava your own tradition, in your own way

Terms

The short version: Kalava is a calendar and a guide, offered in good faith and with care. It is not a substitute for your own family's practice or a priest's judgement.

Using the app

You may use Kalava for your own household's practice. You may not resell it, redistribute its content, or present its texts, recordings or photographs as your own work.

On the content

Dates and timings are computed from astronomical calculation against published panchangs, and are checked; they can still differ from the almanac your family follows, because traditions genuinely differ. Where they do, your family's practice governs. Liturgical texts are reconciled from published sources and named where they come from. Kalava describes what households do; it does not rule on what is correct.

Subscriptions

Some features require a subscription, sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and is managed in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.

No warranty

Kalava is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
