પ્રણમ્ય શિરસા દેવં ગૌરીપુત્રં વિનાયકમ્।
Bowing my head to Vinayaka, the god who is Gauri's son,
ભક્તાવાસં સ્મરેન્નિત્યમાયુઃકામાર્થસિદ્ધયે॥
who dwells among his devotees, remember him daily, for long life, for every wish and for prosperity.
પ્રથમં વક્રતુણ્ડં ચ એકદન્તં દ્વિતીયકમ્।
First, Vakratunda, of the curved trunk; second, Ekadanta, of the single tusk;
તૃતીયં કૃષ્ણપિઙ્ગાક્ષં ગજવક્ત્રં ચતુર્થકમ્॥
third, Krishnapingaksha, of the dark and tawny eyes; fourth, Gajavaktra, the elephant-faced;
લમ્બોદરં પઞ્ચમં ચ ષષ્ઠં વિકટમેવ ચ।
fifth, Lambodara, of the great belly; sixth, Vikata, the mighty;
સપ્તમં વિઘ્નરાજં ચ ધૂમ્રવર્ણં તથાષ્ટમમ્॥
seventh, Vighnaraja, sovereign over all obstacles; eighth, Dhumravarna, the smoke-hued;
નવમં ભાલચન્દ્રં ચ દશમં તુ વિનાયકમ્।
ninth, Bhalachandra, the moon upon his brow; tenth, Vinayaka;
એકાદશં ગણપતિં દ્વાદશં તુ ગજાનનમ્॥
eleventh, Ganapati; and twelfth, Gajanana.
દ્વાદશૈતાનિ નામાનિ ત્રિસન્ધ્યં યઃ પઠેન્નરઃ।
Whoever reads these twelve names at the three sandhyas of the day
ન ચ વિઘ્નભયં તસ્ય સર્વસિદ્ધિકરં પ્રભો॥
knows no fear of obstacles; O master, they bring every success.
વિદ્યાર્થી લભતે વિદ્યાં ધનાર્થી લભતે ધનમ્।
The seeker of learning gains learning; the seeker of wealth gains wealth;
પુત્રાર્થી લભતે પુત્રાન્ મોક્ષાર્થી લભતે ગતિમ્॥
one who longs for children is blessed with children; one who seeks liberation attains it.
જપેદ્ગણપતિસ્તોત્રં ષડ્ભિર્માસૈઃ ફલં લભેત્।
Say this stotra of Ganapati, and within six months its fruit is gained;
સંવત્સરેણ સિદ્ધિં ચ લભતે નાત્ર સંશયઃ॥
within a year, fulfilment — of this there is no doubt.
અષ્ટભ્યો બ્રાહ્મણેભ્યશ્ચ લિખિત્વા યઃ સમર્પયેત્।
Whoever writes it out and offers it to eight learned brahmins
તસ્ય વિદ્યા ભવેત્સર્વા ગણેશસ્ય પ્રસાદતઃ॥
gains all learning, by the grace of Ganesha.
