ఆరతీ గజబదన వినాయక కీ।
We perform the devotional waving of diya for Vinayaka, who is endowed with the face of an elephant.
సుర-ముని-పూజిత గణనాయక కీ॥
We offer adoration to the leader of the divine hosts, who is given puja by celestials and venerable sages alike.
ఏకదన్త శశిభాల గజానన,
He is the one-tusked, elephant-faced one whose forehead is adorned with the crescent moon.
విఘ్నవినాశక శుభగుణ కానన।
He is the annihilator of all obstacles and an abundant forest of auspicious virtues.
శివసుత వన్ద్యమాన-చతురానన,
He is the divine son of Shiv ji and is revered even by four-headed Brahma.
దుఃఖవినాశక సుఖదాయక కీ॥
We revere Him who dispels every sorrow and graciously bestows true joy.
ఋద్ధి-సిద్ధి-స్వామీ సమర్థ అతి,
He is the all-capable sovereign lord of Riddhi (prosperity) and Siddhi (spiritual attainment).
విమల బుద్ధి దాతా సువిమల-మతి।
Possessing an immaculate intellect Himself, He is the gracious giver of pure wisdom.
అఘ-వన-దహన అమల అబిగత గతి,
He incinerates the dense forest of sins, remains taintless, and moves in unfathomable divine ways.
విద్యా-వినయ-విభవ-దాయక కీ॥
We glorify Him who bestows sacred knowledge, humble demeanor, and righteous prosperity.
పిఙ్గలనయన, విశాల శుణ్డధర,
He has striking tawny eyes and bears a broad, majestic trunk.
ధూమ్రవర్ణ శుచి వజ్రాంకుశ-కర।
He has a smoke-hued complexion, holds the sacred thunderbolt and the goad in His hands, and is entirely pure.
లమ్బోదర బాధా-విపత్తి-హర,
Large-bellied Ganesh ji removes every hindrance and protects those who keep him from calamity.
సుర-వన్దిత సబ విధి లాయక కీ॥
We offer puja to Him who is venerated by the gods and is fully competent in every way.
