આરતી ગજબદન વિનાયક કી।
We perform the devotional waving of diya for Vinayaka, who is endowed with the face of an elephant.
સુર-મુનિ-પૂજિત ગણનાયક કી॥
We offer adoration to the leader of the divine hosts, who is given puja by celestials and venerable sages alike.
એકદન્ત શશિભાલ ગજાનન,
He is the one-tusked, elephant-faced one whose forehead is adorned with the crescent moon.
વિઘ્નવિનાશક શુભગુણ કાનન।
He is the annihilator of all obstacles and an abundant forest of auspicious virtues.
શિવસુત વન્દ્યમાન-ચતુરાનન,
He is the divine son of Shiv ji and is revered even by four-headed Brahma.
દુઃખવિનાશક સુખદાયક કી॥
We revere Him who dispels every sorrow and graciously bestows true joy.
ઋદ્ધિ-સિદ્ધિ-સ્વામી સમર્થ અતિ,
He is the all-capable sovereign lord of Riddhi (prosperity) and Siddhi (spiritual attainment).
વિમલ બુદ્ધિ દાતા સુવિમલ-મતિ।
Possessing an immaculate intellect Himself, He is the gracious giver of pure wisdom.
અઘ-વન-દહન અમલ અબિગત ગતિ,
He incinerates the dense forest of sins, remains taintless, and moves in unfathomable divine ways.
વિદ્યા-વિનય-વિભવ-દાયક કી॥
We glorify Him who bestows sacred knowledge, humble demeanor, and righteous prosperity.
પિઙ્ગલનયન, વિશાલ શુણ્ડધર,
He has striking tawny eyes and bears a broad, majestic trunk.
ધૂમ્રવર્ણ શુચિ વજ્રાંકુશ-કર।
He has a smoke-hued complexion, holds the sacred thunderbolt and the goad in His hands, and is entirely pure.
લમ્બોદર બાધા-વિપત્તિ-હર,
Large-bellied Ganesh ji removes every hindrance and protects those who keep him from calamity.
સુર-વન્દિત સબ વિધિ લાયક કી॥
We offer puja to Him who is venerated by the gods and is fully competent in every way.
