om jay jagadeesh hare, svaamee jay jagadeesh hare.
Om, glory to You, O Hari, Master of the world; O Swami, glory to You, O Hari, Master of the world.
bhakt janon ke sankat, kshan men door kare.
You take away the troubles of Your bhaktas in an instant.
jo dhyaave phal paave, duhkh binase man kaa.
Whoever holds You in dhyana gains the fruit, and the sorrow of the mind is ended;
sukh sampatti ghar aave, kasht mite tan kaa.
joy and plenty come into the home, and the pains of the body end.
maat pitaa tum mere, sharan gahoon main kisakee.
You are my mother and my father; whose refuge should I seek but Yours?
tum bin aur n doojaa, aas karoon main jisakee.
Without You there is no other in whom I could place my hope.
tum pooran paramaatmaa, tum antaryaamee.
You are the whole and perfect Paramatma; You dwell within and know every heart;
paarabrahm parameshvar, tum sab ke svaamee.
You are Parabrahm, You are Parameshwar; You are the Master of all.
tum karunaa ke saagar, tum paalanakartaa.
You are the ocean of compassion; You sustain all;
main moorakh khal kaamee, kripaa karo bhartaa.
I am foolish, wicked and full of desire — have mercy on me, O Sustainer.
tum ho ek agochar, sabake praanapati.
You are the One, beyond the reach of the senses, the Master of every life;
kis vidhi miloon dayaamay, tumako main kumati.
how shall I, of poor understanding, reach You, O Merciful One?
deenabandhu duhkhahartaa, thaakur tum mere.
Friend of the lowly, remover of sorrow — You are my Master;
apane haath uthaao, dvaar padaa tere.
lift Your hand to me; I lie at Your door.
vishay vikaar mitaao, paap haro devaa.
Wipe away my cravings and faults, and take away my sins, O Deva;
shraddhaa bhakti badhaao, santan kee sevaa.
increase my faith and bhakti, and my service to the saints.
