Strong
A strong Shukra — in the 4th house where it has dik bala, exalted in Pisces, in its own Taurus or Libra (Libra is its best), or in any kendra, where GP says it 'removes crores of doshas' — gives charm, taste, a happy marriage, vehicles, good clothes and a comfortable home, and a gift for music, art or anything made beautiful. Its results ripen from about 25 to 28.
Weak
An afflicted Shukra — debilitated in Virgo, combust, pressed by malefics, or alone in the 7th, which GP counts against it — shows as over-indulgence, money spent on comfort, delay or friction in marriage, and pleasure put before commitment. The areas to care for are the eyes, the kidneys, reproductive health and blood sugar; see a doctor for anything persistent. Keep Fridays for Lakshmi Maa, honour the women of the house, and give rice, sugar, curd or white cloth.
