O Durga, without You this worldly life is hard beyond bearing.
అనాథనాథే అంబే కరుణా విస్తారీ॥
O Amba, refuge of those who have no one, spread Your compassion over us.
వారీ వారీం జన్మమరణాతే వారీ।
Ward off, ward off, ward off the round of birth and death.
హారీ పడలో ఆతా సంకట నీవారీ॥
I am beaten and fallen; now take my trouble away.

సురవరఈశ్వరవరదే తారక సంజీవనీ॥

త్రిభువనీ భువనీ పాహతా తుజ ఐసీ నాహీ।
Search all the three worlds, and there is none like You.
చారీ శ్రమలే పరంతు న బోలవే కాహీ।
The four Vedas grew weary, and still could not put You into words.
సాహీ వివాద కరితాం పడిలే ప్రవాహీ।
The six schools of thought, arguing, were swept away in the stream.
తే తూం భక్తాలాగీ పావసి లవలాహీ॥
Yet You, that same Devi, come swiftly to Your bhakta.

సురవరఈశ్వరవరదే తారక సంజీవనీ॥

ప్రసన్నవదనే ప్రసన్న హోసీ నిజదాసాం।
O You of the smiling face, You are pleased with those who are Your own.
క్లేశాపాసూని సోడీ తోడీ భవపాశా॥
You free them from their suffering and cut the noose of this worldly life.
అంబే తుజవాచూన కోణ పురవిల ఆశా।
O Amba, who but You will fulfil our hopes?
నరహరి తల్లీన ఝాలా పదపంకజలేశా॥
Narahari is lost in even a trace of Your lotus feet.
