O Ram ji, benefactor of those who keep him and jewel of the Raghu lineage, please hear our humble prayer.

nishi din dhyaan dharai jo koyee. taa sam bhakt aur nahin hoyee.

Whoever holds in dhyan You day and night has no equal among those who keep you.

dhyaan dhare shivajee man maaheen. brahmaa indr paar nahin paaheen.

Shiv ji holds in dhyan You within his heart, while Brahma and Indra cannot comprehend the limits of Your majesty.

jay jay jay raghunaath kripaalaa. sadaa karo santan pratipaalaa.

Victory, victory, victory to You, O merciful lord of the Raghus, who constantly protects and nurtures the saints.

doot tumhaar veer hanumaanaa. jaasu prabhaav tihoon pur jaanaa.

The heroic Hanuman is Your messenger, whose mighty power is renowned across all three worlds.

tav bhuj dand prachand kripaalaa. raavan maari suran pratipaalaa.

With Your formidable, mighty arms, O compassionate Ram ji, You slew Ravana and protected the gods.

tum anaath ke naath gosaayeen. deenan ke ho sadaa sahaayee.

You are the master and protector of the shelterless, and the eternal help of the humble and afflicted.

brahmaadik tav paar n paavain. sadaa eesh tumharo yash gaavain.

Even deities headed by Brahma cannot fathom Your bounds, and Shiv ji ever sings Your glory.

chaariu ved bharat hain saakhee. tum bhaktan kee lajjaa raakhee.

All four Vedas bear witness that You always preserve the honour and dignity of your own.

gun gaavat shaarad man maaheen. surapati taako paar n paaheen.

Devi Saraswati sings Your virtues in Her mind, yet Indra, the lord of celestials, cannot find their limit.

naam tumhaar let jo koyee. taa sam dhany aur nahin hoyee.

Blessed indeed is anyone who takes Your holy name, for none is more fortunate than they.

raam naam hai aparanpaaraa. chaariu vedan jaahi pukaaraa.

The name of Ram is boundless, as proclaimed and celebrated throughout all four Vedas.

ganapati naam tumhaaro leenho. tinako pratham poojy tum keenho.

Ganesh ji remembered Your sacred name, and You granted him the honour of being given puja first among all deities.

shesh ratat nit naam tumhaaraa. mahi ko bhaar sheesh par dhaaraa.

Sheshanaga constantly recites Your name, sustaining the heavy burden of the earth upon his hood.

phool samaan rahat so bhaaraa. paav n kooo tumharo paaraa.

That immense weight rests as light as a flower, yet no one can ever fathom the depths of Your glory.

bharat naam tumharo ur dhaaro. taason kabahu n ran men haaro.

Bharata enshrined Your name within his heart, and for that reason he was never defeated on any battlefield.

naam shatruhan hriday prakaashaa. sumirat hot shatru kar naashaa.

Your name illuminated the heart of Shatrughna, and by remembering it, all adversaries are destroyed.

lakhan tumhaare aajnaakaaree. sadaa karat santan rakhavaaree.

Lakshmana was ever obedient to Your wishes, perpetually guarding and serving the saints.

taate ran jeete nahin koyee. yuddh jure yamahoon kin hoyee.

Therefore no warrior could ever defeat him in battle, even if Yama, the god of death himself, were to engage him.

mahaalakshmee dhar avataaraa. sab vidhi karat paap ko chhaaraa.

Mother Mahalakshmi took incarnation as Sita, reducing all manners of sin to ashes.

seetaa naam puneetaa gaayo. bhuvaneshvaree prabhaav dikhaayo.

The sacred name of Sita was sung, displaying the divine majesty of Devi Bhuvaneshwari.

ghat son prakat bhayee so aayee. jaako dekhat chandr lajaayee.

She appeared forth from the earth, blessed with a radiance that makes the moon feel bashful.

so tumare nit paanv palotat. navon niddhi charanan men lotat.

She gently caresses Your feet daily, while all nine treasures of wealth lie at Your feet.

siddhi athaarah mangalakaaree. so tum par jaavai balihaaree.

All eighteen auspicious mystic powers surrender themselves entirely in devotion to You.

aurahu jo anek prabhutaayee. so seetaapati tumahin banaayee.

Whatever other great powers and sovereignties exist, O Ram ji, Sita Maa's own, were created solely by You.

ichchhaa te kotin sansaaraa. rachat n laagat pal kee vaaraa.

By Your mere wish You bring forth millions of universes without taking even an instant.

jo tumhare charanan chit laavai. taakee mukti avasi ho jaavai.

Whoever fastens their mind upon Your lotus feet attains spiritual liberation without fail.

jay jay jay prabhu jyoti svaroopaa. nirgun brahm akhand anoopaa.

All victory to You, O Ram ji who are the embodiment of divine light, the attributeless, indivisible, and incomparable Supreme Brahman.

saty saty satyavrat svaamee. saty sanaatan antaryaamee.

Truly, You are the Master dedicated to truth, the eternal truth, and the indwelling witness of every soul.

saty bhajan tumharo jo gaavai. so nishchay chaaron phal paavai.

Whoever sings Your sincere praises in truth undoubtedly receives the four great fruits of human life.

saty shapath gaureepati keenheen. tumane bhaktihin sab siddhi deenheen.

Shiv ji, consort of Gauri, swore an oath of truth that You bestow every spiritual accomplishment upon genuine devotion.

sunahu raam tum taat hamaare. tumahin bharat kul poojy prachaare.

Listen, O Ram, You are our divine Father, revered and proclaimed throughout the lineage of Bharata.

tumahin dev kul dev hamaare. tum guru dev praan ke pyaare.

You are the God of our deities, our divine Teacher, and dearer to us than life itself.

jo kuchh ho so tum hee raajaa. jay jay jay prabhu raakho laajaa.

In all that exists, You alone are the supreme Sovereign; victory to You, O Ram ji, please uphold my honour.

raam aatmaa poshan haare. jay jay dasharath raaj dulaare.

O Ram, nourisher of the innermost soul, all victory to You, the beloved son of King Dasharatha.

jnaan hriday do jnaan svaroopaa. namo namo jay jagapati bhoopaa.

Bestow wisdom upon my heart, O personification of knowledge; salutations again and again to the Sovereign Ruler of the universe.

dhany dhany tum dhany prataapaa. naam tumhaar harat santaapaa.

Blessed, blessed are You and blessed is Your divine power, for Your holy name dispels all misery and sorrow.

saty shuddh devan mukh gaayaa. bajee dundubhee shankh bajaayaa.

The gods themselves sang Your pure and truthful glory, sounding celestial kettledrums and conches in celebration.

saty saty tum saty sanaatan. tum hee ho hamare tan man dhan.

Truly, You are the eternal truth, and You alone constitute my body, mind, and wealth.

yaako paath kare jo koyee. jnaan prakat taake ur hoyee.

Whoever recites this stotra will have true spiritual wisdom awaken within their heart.

aavaagaman mitai tihi keraa. saty vachan maane shiv meraa.

Their cycle of birth and death is erased, a truthful word affirmed by my Shiv ji.

aur aas man men jo hoyee. manavaanchhit phal paave soyee.

Whatever other desire one holds in one's heart, one receives that cherished fruit.

teenahoon kaal dhyaan jo lyaavai. tulasee dal aru phool chadhaavai.

Whoever holds in dhyan Ram ji at the three junctures of the day, offering Tulsi leaves and flowers,

saag patr so bhog lagaavain. so nar sakal siddhataa paavain.

And makes offerings of simple vegetarian leaves with devotion, that person attains all perfections.

ant samay raghuvarapur jaayee. jahaan janm hari bhakt kahaayee.

At life's end, they go to the divine abode of Shri Ram, or are reborn as people wholly given to Hari.

shree haridaas kahai aru gaavai. so baikunth dhaam ko jaavai.

Shri Haridas speaks and sings this: such an aspirant surely reaches the celestial realm of Vaikuntha.

saat divas jo nem kar, paath kare chit laay. haridaas hari kripaa se, avasi bhakti ko paay.

Whoever recites this with steady discipline and focused heart for seven days, says Haridas, definitely attains devotion by Hari's grace.

raam chaaleesaa jo padhe, raam charan chit laay. jo ichchhaa man men karai, sakal siddh ho jaay.

Whoever recites the Ram Chalisa, fixing their consciousness upon the feet of Ram, sees every desire harbored in their heart fulfilled.
