શ્રી રઘુવીર ભક્ત હિતકારી।
સુનિ લીજૈ પ્રભુ અરજ હમારી॥

O Ram ji, benefactor of those who keep him and jewel of the Raghu lineage, please hear our humble prayer.

નિશિ દિન ધ્યાન ધરૈ જો કોયી।
તા સમ ભક્ત ઔર નહિઁ હોયી॥

Whoever holds in dhyan You day and night has no equal among those who keep you.

3

ધ્યાન ધરે શિવજી મન માહીઁ।
બ્રહ્મા ઇંદ્ર પાર નહિઁ પાહીઁ॥

Shiv ji holds in dhyan You within his heart, while Brahma and Indra cannot comprehend the limits of Your majesty.

જય જય જય રઘુનાથ કૃપાલા।
સદા કરો સંતન પ્રતિપાલા॥

Victory, victory, victory to You, O merciful lord of the Raghus, who constantly protects and nurtures the saints.

દૂત તુમ્હાર વીર હનુમાના।
જાસુ પ્રભાવ તિહૂઁ પુર જાના॥

The heroic Hanuman is Your messenger, whose mighty power is renowned across all three worlds.

તવ ભુજ દંડ પ્રચંડ કૃપાલા।
રાવણ મારિ સુરન પ્રતિપાલા॥

With Your formidable, mighty arms, O compassionate Ram ji, You slew Ravana and protected the gods.

7

તુમ અનાથ કે નાથ ગોસાયીઁ।
દીનન કે હો સદા સહાયી॥

You are the master and protector of the shelterless, and the eternal help of the humble and afflicted.

8

બ્રહ્માદિક તવ પાર ન પાવૈઁ।
સદા ઈશ તુમ્હરો યશ ગાવૈં॥

Even deities headed by Brahma cannot fathom Your bounds, and Shiv ji ever sings Your glory.

ચારિઉ વેદ ભરત હૈઁ સાખી।
તુમ ભક્તન કી લજ્જા રાખી॥

All four Vedas bear witness that You always preserve the honour and dignity of your own.

10

ગુણ ગાવત શારદ મન માહીઁ।
સુરપતિ તાકો પાર ન પાહીઁ॥

Devi Saraswati sings Your virtues in Her mind, yet Indra, the lord of celestials, cannot find their limit.

નામ તુમ્હાર લેત જો કોયી।
તા સમ ધન્ય ઔર નહિઁ હોયી॥

Blessed indeed is anyone who takes Your holy name, for none is more fortunate than they.

રામ નામ હૈ અપરંપારા।
ચારિઉ વેદન જાહિ પુકારા॥

The name of Ram is boundless, as proclaimed and celebrated throughout all four Vedas.

ગણપતિ નામ તુમ્હારો લીન્હો।
તિનકો પ્રથમ પૂજ્ય તુમ કીન્હો॥

Ganesh ji remembered Your sacred name, and You granted him the honour of being given puja first among all deities.

14

શેષ રટત નિત નામ તુમ્હારા।
મહિ કો ભાર શીશ પર ધારા॥

Sheshanaga constantly recites Your name, sustaining the heavy burden of the earth upon his hood.

15

ફૂલ સમાન રહત સો ભારા।
પાવ ન કોઊ તુમ્હરો પારા॥

That immense weight rests as light as a flower, yet no one can ever fathom the depths of Your glory.

16

ભરત નામ તુમ્હરો ઉર ધારો।
તાસોઁ કબહુ ન રણ મેઁ હારો॥

Bharata enshrined Your name within his heart, and for that reason he was never defeated on any battlefield.

17

નામ શત્રુહન હૃદય પ્રકાશા।
સુમિરત હોત શત્રુ કર નાશા॥

Your name illuminated the heart of Shatrughna, and by remembering it, all adversaries are destroyed.

18

લખન તુમ્હારે આજ્ઞાકારી।
સદા કરત સંતન રખવારી॥

Lakshmana was ever obedient to Your wishes, perpetually guarding and serving the saints.

19

તાતે રણ જીતે નહિઁ કોયી।
યુદ્ધ જુરે યમહૂઁ કિન હોયી॥

Therefore no warrior could ever defeat him in battle, even if Yama, the god of death himself, were to engage him.

20

મહાલક્ષ્મી ધર અવતારા।
સબ વિધિ કરત પાપ કો છારા॥

Mother Mahalakshmi took incarnation as Sita, reducing all manners of sin to ashes.

21

સીતા નામ પુનીતા ગાયો।
ભુવનેશ્વરી પ્રભાવ દિખાયો॥

The sacred name of Sita was sung, displaying the divine majesty of Devi Bhuvaneshwari.

22

ઘટ સોઁ પ્રકટ ભયી સો આયી।
જાકો દેખત ચંદ્ર લજાયી॥

She appeared forth from the earth, blessed with a radiance that makes the moon feel bashful.

23

સો તુમરે નિત પાઁવ પલોટત।
નવોઁ નિદ્ધિ ચરણન મેઁ લોટત॥

She gently caresses Your feet daily, while all nine treasures of wealth lie at Your feet.

24

સિદ્ધિ અઠારહ મંગળકારી।
સો તુમ પર જાવૈ બલિહારી॥

All eighteen auspicious mystic powers surrender themselves entirely in devotion to You.

25

ઔરહુ જો અનેક પ્રભુતાયી।
સો સીતાપતિ તુમહિઁ બનાયી॥

Whatever other great powers and sovereignties exist, O Ram ji, Sita Maa's own, were created solely by You.

26

ઇચ્છા તે કોટિન સંસારા।
રચત ન લાગત પલ કી વારા॥

By Your mere wish You bring forth millions of universes without taking even an instant.

27

જો તુમ્હરે ચરણન ચિત લાવૈ।
તાકી મુક્તિ અવસિ હો જાવૈ॥

Whoever fastens their mind upon Your lotus feet attains spiritual liberation without fail.

28

જય જય જય પ્રભુ જ્યોતિ સ્વરૂપા।
નિર્ગુણ બ્રહ્મ અખંડ અનૂપા॥

All victory to You, O Ram ji who are the embodiment of divine light, the attributeless, indivisible, and incomparable Supreme Brahman.

29

સત્ય સત્ય સત્યવ્રત સ્વામી।
સત્ય સનાતન અંતર્યામી॥

Truly, You are the Master dedicated to truth, the eternal truth, and the indwelling witness of every soul.

30

સત્ય ભજન તુમ્હરો જો ગાવૈ।
સો નિશ્ચય ચારોઁ ફલ પાવૈ॥

Whoever sings Your sincere praises in truth undoubtedly receives the four great fruits of human life.

31

સત્ય શપથ ગૌરીપતિ કીન્હીઁ।
તુમને ભક્તિહિઁ સબ સિદ્ધિ દીન્હીઁ॥

Shiv ji, consort of Gauri, swore an oath of truth that You bestow every spiritual accomplishment upon genuine devotion.

32

સુનહુ રામ તુમ તાત હમારે।
તુમહિઁ ભરત કુલ પૂજ્ય પ્રચારે॥

Listen, O Ram, You are our divine Father, revered and proclaimed throughout the lineage of Bharata.

33

તુમહિઁ દેવ કુલ દેવ હમારે।
તુમ ગુરુ દેવ પ્રાણ કે પ્યારે॥

You are the God of our deities, our divine Teacher, and dearer to us than life itself.

જો કુછ હો સો તુમ હી રાજા।
જય જય જય પ્રભુ રાખો લાજા॥

In all that exists, You alone are the supreme Sovereign; victory to You, O Ram ji, please uphold my honour.

35

રામ આત્મા પોષણ હારે।
જય જય દશરથ રાજ દુલારે॥

O Ram, nourisher of the innermost soul, all victory to You, the beloved son of King Dasharatha.

36

જ્ઞાન હૃદય દો જ્ઞાન સ્વરૂપા।
નમો નમો જય જગપતિ ભૂપા॥

Bestow wisdom upon my heart, O personification of knowledge; salutations again and again to the Sovereign Ruler of the universe.

37

ધન્ય ધન્ય તુમ ધન્ય પ્રતાપા।
નામ તુમ્હાર હરત સંતાપા॥

Blessed, blessed are You and blessed is Your divine power, for Your holy name dispels all misery and sorrow.

38

સત્ય શુદ્ધ દેવન મુખ ગાયા।
બજી દુંદુભી શંખ બજાયા॥

The gods themselves sang Your pure and truthful glory, sounding celestial kettledrums and conches in celebration.

39

સત્ય સત્ય તુમ સત્ય સનાતન।
તુમ હી હો હમરે તન મન ધન॥

Truly, You are the eternal truth, and You alone constitute my body, mind, and wealth.

40

યાકો પાઠ કરે જો કોયી।
જ્ઞાન પ્રકટ તાકે ઉર હોયી॥

Whoever recites this stotra will have true spiritual wisdom awaken within their heart.

41

આવાગમન મિટૈ તિહિ કેરા।
સત્ય વચન માને શિવ મેરા॥

Their cycle of birth and death is erased, a truthful word affirmed by my Shiv ji.

42

ઔર આસ મન મેઁ જો હોયી।
મનવાંછિત ફલ પાવે સોયી॥

Whatever other desire one holds in one's heart, one receives that cherished fruit.

43

તીનહૂઁ કાલ ધ્યાન જો લ્યાવૈ।
તુલસી દલ અરુ ફૂલ ચઢાવૈ॥

Whoever holds in dhyan Ram ji at the three junctures of the day, offering Tulsi leaves and flowers,

44

સાગ પત્ર સો ભોગ લગાવૈઁ।
સો નર સકલ સિદ્ધતા પાવૈઁ॥

And makes offerings of simple vegetarian leaves with devotion, that person attains all perfections.

45

અંત સમય રઘુવરપુર જાયી।
જહાઁ જન્મ હરિ ભક્ત કહાયી॥

At life's end, they go to the divine abode of Shri Ram, or are reborn as people wholly given to Hari.

46

શ્રી હરિદાસ કહૈ અરુ ગાવૈ।
સો બૈકુંઠ ધામ કો જાવૈ॥

Shri Haridas speaks and sings this: such an aspirant surely reaches the celestial realm of Vaikuntha.

Closing doha

સાત દિવસ જો નેમ કર, પાઠ કરે ચિત લાય।
હરિદાસ હરિ કૃપા સે, અવસિ ભક્તિ કો પાય॥

Whoever recites this with steady discipline and focused heart for seven days, says Haridas, definitely attains devotion by Hari's grace.

રામ ચાલીસા જો પઢે, રામ ચરણ ચિત લાય।
જો ઇચ્છા મન મેં કરૈ, સકલ સિદ્ધ હો જાય॥

Whoever recites the Ram Chalisa, fixing their consciousness upon the feet of Ram, sees every desire harbored in their heart fulfilled.
