मन्त्राक्षरमयीं लक्ष्मीं मातृणां रूपधारिणीम्।
mantrākṣaramayīṁ lakṣmīṁ mātr̥ṇāṁ rūpadhāriṇīm.
She who is Lakshmi made of the mantra's own syllables, who bears the form of the Mothers,
नवदुर्गात्मिकां साक्षात् कन्यामावाहयाम्यहम्॥
navadurgātmikāṁ sākṣāt kanyāmāvāhayāmyaham.
who is the nine Durgas themselves — that girl I invite here.
जगत्पूज्ये जगद्वन्द्ये सर्वशक्तिस्वरूपिणि।
jagatpūjye jagadvandye sarvaśaktisvarūpiṇi.
You whom the world gives puja, whom the world bows to, who are every power's own form,
पूजां गृहाण कौमारि जगन्मातर्नमोऽस्तु ते॥
pūjāṁ gr̥hāṇa kaumāri jaganmātarnamo'stu te.
accept this puja, Kaumari; Mother of the world, we bow to you.
