આરતી કીજૈ હનુમાન લલા કી।
Perform the aarti of Hanuman, the beloved child,
દુષ્ટ દલન રઘુનાથ કલા કી॥
Crusher of the wicked, the power of Ram ji.
જાકે બલ સે ગિરિવર કાઁપે।
At whose strength the great mountains tremble;
રોગ દોષ જાકે નિકટ ન ઝાઁકે॥
sickness and fault dare not come near him.
અંજનિ પુત્ર મહા બલદાઈ।
Son of Anjani, giver of great strength,
સંતન કે પ્રભુ સદા સહાઈ॥
Master of the saints, always their help.
દે બીરા રઘુનાથ પઠાએ।
Charged by Ram ji, he set out;
લંકા જારિ સિયા સુધિ લાએ॥
he burned Lanka and brought back news of Sita.
લંકા સો કોટ સમુદ્ર સી ખાઈ।
Lanka a fortress, the ocean its moat;
જાત પવનસુત બાર ન લાઈ॥
the son of the Wind crossed it without delay.
લંકા જારિ અસુર સંહારે।
He burned Lanka and slew the asuras;
સિયારામજી કે કાજ સઁવારે॥
he set right the work of Sita and Rama.
લક્ષ્મણ મૂર્છિત પડે સકારે।
Lakshman lay unconscious at dawn;
આનિ સંજીવન પ્રાણ ઉબારે॥
he brought the Sanjivani and saved his life.
પૈઠિ પાતાલ તોરિ જમ-કારે।
He entered the netherworld and broke the fetters of death;
અહિરાવન કી ભુજા ઉખારે॥
he tore off Ahiravana's arms.
બાએઁ ભુજા અસુર દલ મારે।
With his left arm he struck down the asura host;
દાહિને ભુજા સંતજન તારે॥
with his right he carried the saints across.
સુર નર મુનિ આરતી ઉતારેં।
Gods, men and sages perform his aarti;
જય જય જય હનુમાન ઉચારેં॥
"Jai, jai, jai Hanuman," they cry.
કંચન થાર કપૂર લૌ છાઈ।
On a golden plate the camphor flame glows;
આરતી કરત અંજના માઈ॥
Mother Anjana performs the aarti.
જો હનુમાનજી કી આરતી ગાવે।
Whoever sings this aarti of Hanuman ji
બસિ બૈકુંઠ પરમ પદ પાવે॥
dwells in Vaikuntha and attains the highest state.
