Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma serve you night and day.
ఉమా రమా బ్రహ్మాణీ తుమ హీ జగ మాతా।
Uma, Rama, Brahmani — you alone are the mother of the world;
సూర్య చంద్రమా ధ్యావత నారద ఋషి గాతా॥
the Sun and Moon meditate on you, the sage Narada sings.
దుర్గా రూప నిరంజనీ సుఖ సమ్పత్తి దాతా।
In Durga's form, spotless, giver of joy and plenty;
జో కోఈ తుమకో ధ్యావత ఋద్ధి-సిద్ధి ధన పాతా॥
whoever meditates on you gains prosperity, attainment and wealth.
తుమ పాతాల నివాసినీ తుమ హీ శుభదాతా।
You dwell in the depths; you alone give what is good;
కర్మ ప్రభావ ప్రకాశినీ భవనిధి కీ త్రాతా॥
you reveal the fruit of deeds, saviour from the ocean of birth.
జిస ఘర తుమ రహతీ తహఁ సబ సద్గుణ ఆతా।
In the house where you dwell, every virtue comes;
సబ సమ్భవ హో జాతా మన నహీం ఘబరాతా॥
everything becomes possible, the mind does not fear.
తుమ బిన యజ్ఞ న హోతే వస్త్ర న కోఈ పాతా।
Without you no sacrifice is done, no cloth is woven;
ఖాన పాన కా వైభవ సబ తుమసే ఆతా॥
all the plenty of food and drink comes from you.
శుభ గుణ మందిర సుందర క్షీరోదధి జాతా।
Temple of good qualities, lovely, born of the ocean of milk;
రత్న చతుర్దశ తుమ బిన కోఈ నహీం పాతా॥
without you no one gains the fourteen jewels.
మహాలక్ష్మీజీ కీ ఆరతీ జో కోఈ నర గాతా।
Whoever sings this aarti of Mahalakshmi,
