జగత జనని మంగల కరని గాయత్రీ సుఖధామ।
ప్రణవోం సావిత్రీ స్వధా స్వాహా పూరన కామ॥

I bow to Mother Gayatri, the benevolent mother of the universe and the dwelling of all joy, who manifests as Savitri, Svadha, and Svaha, fulfilling every righteous wish of her own.

భూర్భువః స్వః ఓం యుత జననీ।

పుస్తక పుష్ప కమణ్డలు మాలా।
శుభ్ర వర్ణ తను నయన విశాలా॥

Holding a book, a flower, a sacred water-pot, and a prayer rosary, she possesses a luminous fair form and large, compassionate eyes.

ధ్యాన ధరత పులకిత హియ హోఈ।
సుఖ ఉపజత దుఃఖ దురమతి ఖోఈ॥

In dhyan upon her fills the heart with profound ecstasy, giving rise to supreme peace while dispelling all suffering and evil intellect.

కామధేను తుమ సుర తరు ఛాయా।
నిరాకార కీ అద్భుత మాయా॥

You are like the wish-fulfilling cow Kamadhenu and the soothing shade of the celestial wish-granting tree, serving as the marvelous creative power of the formless Supreme Reality.

తుమ్హరీ శరణ గహై జో కోఈ।
తరై సకల సంకట సోం సోఈ॥

Whosoever takes refuge at your holy feet is delivered safely from every conceivable crisis and danger.

సరస్వతీ లక్ష్మీ తుమ కాలీ।
దిపై తుమ్హారీ జ్యోతి నిరాలీ॥

You are Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Kali yourself, and your wondrous divine flame radiates throughout the cosmos.

తుమ్హరీ మహిమా పార న పావైం।
జో శారద శత ముఖ గున గావైం॥

Even if the Devi of learning, Sharada, were to extol your glory through a hundred mouths, she could never fathom its boundless depths.

చార వేద కీ మాతు పునీతా।
తుమ బ్రహ్మాణీ గౌరీ సీతా॥

You are the sacred mother of the four Vedas, and you are identical with Brahmani, Gauri, and Sita.

మహామంత్ర జితనే జగ మాహీం।

పూరిత సకల జ్ఞాన విజ్ఞానా।
తుమ సమ అధిక న జగ మేం ఆనా॥

You are brimful of all spiritual insight and scientific knowledge, and there is no one greater than you anywhere in the world.

తుమహిం జాని కఛు రహై న శేషా।
తుమహిం పాయ కఛు రహై న క్లేశా॥

Once a person truly knows you, nothing remains unknown, and once you are attained, not a shred of distress or sorrow can endure.

జానత తుమహిం తుమహిం హ్వై జాఈ।
పారస పరసి కుధాతు సుహాఈ॥

He who knows you merges into your divine essence, just as an inferior metal is transformed into fine gold upon the touch of the philosopher's stone.

తుమ్హరీ శక్తి దిపై సబ ఠాఈం।
మాతా తుమ సబ ఠౌర సమాఈం॥

Your sovereign potency shines across every direction, for you, O Divine Mother, pervade every single place in creation.

గ్రహ నక్షత్ర బ్రహ్మాణ్డ ఘనేరే।
సబ గతివాన తుమ్హారే ప్రేరే॥

All the planets, heavenly constellations, and vast cosmic universes remain in constant orderly motion guided by your divine impulse.

సకల సృష్టి కీ ప్రాణ విధాతా।
పాలక, పోషక, నాశక, త్రాతా॥

You are the author of the life-breath of all creation, acting as its preserver, nurturer, dissolver, and supreme protector.

మాతేశ్వరీ దయా వ్రత ధారీ।
తుమ సన తరే పాతకీ భారీ॥

దారిద మిటై కటై సబ పీరా।
నాశై దుఃఖ హరై భవ భీరా॥

Your grace wipes away all poverty, cuts through every agony, destroys sorrow, and removes the dread of worldly rebirth.

గృహ-కలేశ చిత చిన్తా భారీ।
నాసై గాయత్రీ భయ హారీ॥

సంతతిహీన సుసంతతి పావేం।
సుఖ సంపతి యుత మోద మనావేం॥

భూత పిశాచ సబై భయ ఖావేం।
యమ కే దూత నికట నహిం ఆవేం॥

జో సధవా సుమిరేం చిత లాఈ।
అఛత సుహాగ సదా సుఖదాఈ॥

విధవా రహేం సత్యవ్రత ధారీ॥

జయతి జయతి జగదమ్బ భవానీ।
తుమ సమ ఔర దయాలు న దానీ॥

జో సద్గురు సోం దీక్షా పావేం।
సో సాధన కో సఫల బనావేం॥

బల, బుద్ధి, విద్యా, శీల స్వభాఊ।
ధన వైభవ యశ తేజ ఉఛాఊ॥

Physical strength, mental acumen, knowledge, noble character, wealth, splendour, fame, spiritual glow, and joyful enthusiasm—

సకల బఢేం ఉపజేం సుఖ నానా।
జో యహ పాఠ కరై ధరి ధ్యానా॥

All these flourish and diverse kinds of happiness spring forth for anyone who recites this stotra with steady and absorbed dhyan.

యహ చాలీసా భక్తి యుత, పాఠ కరే జో కోయ।
తాపర కృపా ప్రసన్నతా, గాయత్రీ కీ హోయ॥
