Bajrang Baan Gujarati

નિશ્ચય પ્રેમ પ્રતીતિ તે, બિનય કરૈં સનમાન।
તેહિ કે કારજ સકલ શુભ, સિદ્ધ કરૈં હનુમાન॥

Whoever approaches Hanuman ji with firm conviction, love, and sincere reverence has all their auspicious undertakings successfully accomplished by Him.

જય હનુમન્ત સન્ત હિતકારી।
સુન લીજૈ પ્રભુ અરજ હમારી॥

All victory to Hanuman ji, the benefactor of saints; please heed our humble prayer, O Hanuman ji.

જન કે કાજ વિલમ્બ ન કીજૈ।
આતુર દૌરિ મહા સુખ દીજૈ॥

Do not delay in fulfilling the needs of your own; rush eagerly to grant supreme happiness.

જૈસે કૂદિ સિન્ધુ વહિ પારા।
સુરસા બદન પૈઠિ બિસ્તારા॥

Just as You leaped across the ocean and cleverly entered and emerged from Surasa's expanding mouth.

આગે જાઈ લંકિની રોકા।
મારેહુ લાત ગઈ સુર લોકા॥

When Lankini stopped You ahead, You struck her with a kick that sent her to the celestial realm.

જાય વિભીષણ કો સુખ દીન્હા।
સીતા નિરખિ પરમ પદ લીન્હા॥

You went and brought joy to Vibhishana, and attained supreme fulfillment upon beholding Mother Sita.

બાગ ઉજારી સિંધુ મહં બોરા।
અતિ આતુર યમ કાતર તોરા॥

You uprooted the royal orchard, cast it into the sea, and swiftly crushed the tormentors who were dreadful like death itself.

અક્ષય કુમાર મારિ સંહારા।
લૂમ લપેટ લંક કો જારા॥

You slew and destroyed Akshay Kumar, and wrapping Lanka in Your tail, set it ablaze.

લાહ સમાન લંક જરિ ગઈ।
જય જય ધુનિ સુર પુર મહં ભઈ॥

Lanka burned away as easily as sealing wax, causing cheers of victory to resound through heaven.

અબ વિલમ્બ કેહિ કારણ સ્વામી।
કૃપા કરહુ ઉર અન્તર્યામી॥

What is the reason for any delay now, O Hanuman ji; shower Your compassion upon us, O Knower of all hearts.

જય જય લક્ષ્મણ પ્રાણ કે દાતા।
આતુર હોય દુખ હરહુ નિપાતા॥

Victory, all victory to the savior of Lakshmana's life; arrive swiftly to completely destroy our afflictions.

જૈ ગિરિધર જૈ જૈ સુખસાગર।
સુર સમૂહ સમરથ ભટનાગર॥

Victory to the lifter of the mountain and ocean of joy, the capable champion of the gods and supreme warrior.

ૐ હનુ હનુ હનુ હનુ હનુમન્ત હઠીલે।
બૈરિહિં મારૂ બજ્ર કી કીલે॥

Om Hanu Hanu Hanu Hanu, O resolute Hanuman, strike down our adversaries with blows like thunderbolt stakes.

ગદા બજ્ર લૈ બૈરિહિં મારો।
મહારાજ પ્રભુ દાસ ઉબારો॥

Take up Your mace and lightning weapon to crush the enemy, O Sovereign Master, and deliver Your servant.

ૐ કાર હુંકાર મહાપ્રભુ ધાવો।
બજ્ર ગદા હનુ વિલમ્બ ન લાવો॥

Charge forth with the mighty roar of Omkara, O Hanuman ji, and strike with Your thunderbolt and mace without delay.

ૐ હ્રીં હ્રીં હ્રીં હનુમંત કપીસા।
ૐ હું હું હું હનુ અરિ ઉર શીશા॥

Om Hrim Hrim Hrim, O lord of the monkeys; Om Hum Hum Hum, strike the adversary upon his chest and head.

સત્ય હોહુ હરિ શપથ પાય કે।
રામદૂત ધરુ મારુ ધાય કે॥

Stand true to Your sacred oath by Sri Hari, and as Rama's messenger, charge forward to seize and strike.

જય જય જય હનુમંત અગાધા।
દુ:ખ પાવત જન કેહિ અપરાધા॥

Victory, victory, victory to the unfathomable Hanuman; for what fault does the one who keeps you suffer such distress?

પૂજા જપ તપ નેમ અચારા।
નહિં જાનત કછુ દાસ તુમ્હારા॥

Your humble servant knows nothing of rituals, reciting, austerities, sankalp, or strict codes of conduct.

વન ઉપવન, મગ ગિરિ ગૃહ માહીં।
તુમ્હરે બલ હમ ડરપત નાહીં॥

Whether in woods, gardens, roads, mountains, or at home, we fear nothing through the strength You bestow.

પાંય પરોં કર જોરિ મનાવૌં।
યહિ અવસર અબ કેહિ ગોહરાવૌં॥

I fall at Your feet and plead with folded hands; at this urgent hour, to whom else could I call out?

જય અંજનિ કુમાર બલવન્તા।
શંકર સુવન વીર હનુમંતા॥

Victory to the mighty son of Anjana, the embodiment of Shiva and valiant hero Hanuman.

બદન કરાલ કાલ કુલ ઘાલક।
રામ સહાય સદા પ્રતિપાલક॥

With a fearsome countenance You destroy the hordes of death, forever aiding Rama and protecting the faithful.

ભૂત પ્રેત પિશાચ નિશાચર।
અગ્નિ બેતાલ કાલ મારી મર॥

Ghosts, evil spirits, ghouls, nocturnal fiends, fire phantoms, and deadly plagues are instantly destroyed.

ઇન્હેં મારુ તોહિં શપથ રામ કી।
રાખુ નાથ મરજાદ નામ કી॥

Strike them down by Your solemn oath to Ram ji, and preserve the sanctity of Your holy name.

જનકસુતા હરિ દાસ કહાવૌ।
તાકી શપથ વિલમ્બ ન લાવો॥

You are called the servant of Janaki and Sri Hari; by their oath, do not make any delay.

જય જય જય ધુનિ હોત અકાશા।
સુમિરત હોત દુસહ દુઃખ નાશા॥

Shouts of victory ring across the skies, and merely remembering You dispels unbearable sorrows.

ચરણ શરણ કરિ જોરિ મનાવૌ।
યહિ અવસર અબ કેહિ ગૌહરાવૌં॥

Seeking shelter at Your feet with joined hands I pray; at this moment, whom else should I summon for protection?

ઉઠુ ઉઠુ ચલુ તોહિં રામ દુહાઈ।
પાંય પરૌં કર જોરિ મનાઈ॥

Arise, arise and march forward in Rama's name; I bow at Your feet and entreat You with folded hands.

ૐ ચં ચં ચં ચં ચપલ ચલન્તા।
ૐ હનુ હનુ હનુ હનુ હનુમન્તા॥

Om Cham Cham Cham Cham, You who advance with lightning speed; Om Hanu Hanu Hanu Hanu, O Hanuman ji!

ૐ હં હં હાંક દેત કપિ ચઞ્ચલ।
ૐ સં સં સહમ પરાને ખલ દલ॥

Om Ham Ham, the swift monkey lord lets out a roar; Om Sam Sam, the terrified forces of the wicked flee in fright.

અપને જન કો તુરત ઉબારો।
સુમિરત હોય આનન્દ હમારો॥

Deliver the one who keeps you without delay, so that remembering You fills our hearts with joy.

યહ બજરંગ બાણ જેહિ મારૈ।
તાહિ કહો ફિર કૌન ઉબારૈ॥

Whomever this arrow of Bajrang strikes, tell me, who could ever save them?

પાઠ કરૈ બજરંગ બાણ કી।
હનુમત રક્ષા કરૈ પ્રાણ કી॥

Whoever recites this Bajrang Baan has their very life guarded by Hanuman ji.

યહ બજરંગ બાણ જો જાપૈ।
તેહિ તે ભૂત પ્રેત સબ કાંપે॥

Whoever recites this Bajrang Baan causes all phantoms and asuras to tremble in terror.

ધૂપ દેય અરુ જપૈ હમેશા।
તાકે તન નહિં રહૈ કલેશા॥

Whoever offers incense and regularly recites this stotra is freed from all afflictions of the body and mind.

પ્રેમ પ્રતીતિહિં કપિ ભજૈ, સદા ધરૈ ઉર ધ્યાન।
તેહિ કે કારજ સકલ શુભ, સિદ્ધ કરૈ હનુમાન॥

Whoever offers puja to Hanuman ji with love and trust, continually holding Him in their heart, has all their noble works brought to fruition by Hanuman.
