Salutations to Soma, the moon.
दधिशंखतुषाराभं क्षीरोदार्णवसम्भवम्।
dadhiśaṅkhatuṣārābhaṁ kṣīrodārṇavasambhavam.
White as curd, as conch, as frost; born of the ocean of milk —
नमामि शशिनं सोमं शम्भोर्मुकुटभूषणम्॥
namāmi śaśinaṁ somaṁ śambhormukuṭabhūṣaṇam.
I bow to the moon, Soma, the ornament of Shiva's crown.
करक-चतुर्थी-व्रतस्य पूर्णतार्थं अर्घ्यं समर्पयामि।
karaka-caturthī-vratasya pūrṇatārthaṁ arghyaṁ samarpayāmi.
