ये के चास्मत्कुले जाता अपुत्रा गोत्रिणो मृताः।
ye ke cāsmatkule jātā aputrā gotriṇo mr̥tāḥ.
Whoever was born in our line and died without a son, of our gotra —
ते गृह्णन्तु मया दत्तं वस्त्रनिष्पीडनोदकम्॥
te gr̥hṇantu mayā dattaṁ vastraniṣpīḍanodakam.
may they take this water, wrung from the cloth and given.
