कर्कोटकस्य नागस्य दमयन्त्या नलस्य च ।
karkoṭakasya nāgasya damayantyā nalasya ca .
Of Karkotaka the naga, of Damayanti and of Nala,
ऋतुपर्णस्य राजर्षेः कीर्तनं कलिनाशनम् ॥
r̥tuparṇasya rājarṣeḥ kīrtanaṁ kalināśanam .
and of Rituparna, the royal sage — to speak of them takes away the ills of Kali.
