ॐ कार्त्तिकेयं महाभागं मयूरोपरिसंस्थितम्।
तप्तकाञ्चनवर्णाभं शक्तिहस्तं वरप्रदम्॥

oṁ kārttikeyaṁ mahābhāgaṁ mayūroparisaṁsthitam. taptakāñcanavarṇābhaṁ śaktihastaṁ varapradam.

Om. Kartikeya, the most blessed, seated upon the peacock, shining like molten gold, the shakti in His hand, the giver of boons;

द्विभुजं शत्रुहन्तारं नानालङ्कारभूषितम्।
प्रसन्नवदनं देवं षडाननं सुतप्रदम्॥

dvibhujaṁ śatruhantāraṁ nānālaṅkārabhūṣitam. prasannavadanaṁ devaṁ ṣaḍānanaṁ sutapradam.
