Prosperity, grace, the lit lamp

oṁ yajñena yajñamayajanta devāstāni dharmāṇi prathamānyāsan.

By the sacrifice the gods made their offering to the Sacrifice; those were the first ordinances.

te ha nākaṁ mahimānaḥ sacanta yatra pūrve sādhyāḥ santi devāḥ.

Those great ones reached heaven, where the ancient Sadhya gods are.

oṁ rājādhirājāya prasahya sāhine. namo vayaṁ vaiśravaṇāya kurmahe.

To the king of kings, the all-conquering, to Vaishravana we make our salutation.

sa me kāmān kāmakāmāya mahyam. kāmeśvaro vaiśravaṇo dadātu.

May Vaishravana, the lord of wishes, grant me my wishes.

kuberāya vaiśravaṇāya mahārājāya namaḥ.

Salutation to Kubera, to Vaishravana, to the great king.

oṁ svasti. sāmrājyaṁ bhaujyaṁ svārājyaṁ vairājyaṁ pārameṣṭhyaṁ rājyaṁ

Om, may it be well. May there be empire, abundance, self-rule, sovereignty, the highest station, kingship,

mahārājyamādhipatyamayaṁ samantaparyāyī syātsārvabhaumaḥ sārvāyuṣa āntādāparārdhāt.

great kingship and lordship; may this one rule all around, be sovereign of the whole earth, long-lived to the farthest end of time,

pr̥thivyai samudraparyantāyā ekarāḷiti.

the one king of the earth as far as the oceans.

tadapyeṣa śloko'bhigīto.

And of this, this verse is sung:

marutaḥ pariveṣṭāro maruttasyāvasan gr̥he.

the Maruts served the food, living in the house of King Marutta,

āvikṣitasya kāmaprerviśvedevāḥ sabhāsada iti.

the son of Avikshit, whose every wish was met, and the Vishvedevas sat in his assembly.
