The vrat
For Ganesh ji, kept only as health allows. In North Indian and Gujarati homes the one sattvik meal follows the evening aarti; in Marathi homes the upvas is opened the next morning. The moon is not looked for. Whoever is unwell, pregnant or elderly keeps the puja and eats.
