How to do the Vasu Baras / Govatsa Dwadashi puja at home
Diwali's first evening: the cow and her calf honoured, and the first diyas lit. About 50 minutes.
Every step is named here and the first 3 are given whole. The whole puja, every mantra with its meaning, is in the Kalava app.
The fuller puja: the achaman, Ganesh ji first, dhoop, the prayer to the cows, and in Gujarati homes the books before Saraswati Maa. About an hour.
