અનન્તં વાસુકિં શેષં પદ્મનાભં ચ કમ્બલમ્ ।
Ananta, Vasuki, Shesha, Padmanabha and Kambala,
શઙ્ખપાલં ધૃતરાષ્ટ્રં તક્ષકં કાલિયં તથા ॥
Shankhapala, Dhritarashtra, Takshaka and Kaliya —
એતાનિ નવ નામાનિ નાગાનાં ચ મહાત્મનામ્ ।
these are the nine names of the great nagas.
સાયઙ્કાલે પઠેન્નિત્યં પ્રાતઃકાલે વિશેષતઃ ।
Whoever says them each evening, and above all in the morning,
તસ્ય વિષભયં નાસ્તિ સર્વત્ર વિજયી ભવેત્ ॥
has no fear of poison, and is victorious everywhere.
