कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वती।
At the fingertips dwells Lakshmi, in the palm Saraswati,
करमूले स्थितो ब्रह्मा प्रभाते करदर्शनम्॥
at the wrist stands Brahma: so at dawn, look at your hands.
समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले।
O Earth, clothed in the oceans, the mountains your breast,
विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्व मे॥
wife of Vishnu, I bow to you; forgive the touch of my feet.
