A low chowki and a clean clothTo set the tools and the books on. A red cloth if you have one; any clean cloth will do.

Aparajita flowers or vineThe blue vine, for the Aparajita puja and the thread tied on the wrist. A few Shami leaves do instead where it does not grow.
